As previously discussed in The Hidden Messages In Water the adult human body is made up of 70% water. According to the H.H Mitchell, in the Journal of Biological Chemistry 158, the brain is made up 73% water in which some of that water comprises the cerebral spinal fluid (CSF).

Why I do feel the need to tell you about cerebral spinal fluid… Well, it is slightly more important that we think!

  • Cerebral spinal fluid allows the brain to maintain its density without being impaired by its own weight.
  • Cerebral spinal fluid acts like a mechanical shock absorber protecting the brain and the spinal column.
  • It regulates the distribution of substances between the cells of the brain.
  • CSF removes waste from the brain.

CSF is produced by enendymal cells on the choriod plexuses of ventricles of the brain. We make about 500mL per day and 125mL continuously circulates. In order to maintain the 125mL that circulates, CSF needs to be absorbed in the circulatory system.  This miraculous fluid lives in the subarachnoid space between the arachnoid and pia mater and the ventricular systems around and inside the brain the spinal cord.  The CSF continues its journey to the inner ear via its connection to subarachnoid space.  90% of our cerebral spinal fluid (CSF) travels within the skull while only 10% travels throughout the spinal column.

Amazingly, this fluid movement matches the wave-like pulsation of our heartbeat. Watch it in motion. (🎥 @nevitdilmen CC BY-SA 3.0,

Lets talk about the container… it’s got 5 layers.
The 5 FASCIAL layers around the brain.img_6120.jpg

  • Aponeurosis
  • Periosteum
  • The 3 layers of the Meninges:
    • Duramater
    • Arachnoid
    • Pia Mater

Why are these layers important? If the fascial layers of the brain are tight, dehydrated, immobile then CSF cannot flow!

Moral of this story… WATER, WATER, and more WATER!  1/2 to 3/4 of your body weight in ounces. Water will help to keep the fascia hydrated and mobile, but how do we unstick fascia if it’s already stuck…

Well, Dr. Voyer found a way to unstick the fascia and move the cerebral spinal fluid.  The general ELDOA moves CSF throughout the brain and spinal column.  It creates fascial tension from the tailbone to the sacrum to the spine to the cranium  to un-stick/hydrate stuck fascia!

The general ELDOA is imperative to anyone who has had a brain injury including concussion, brain surgery, stroke and meningitis to name few.  All football players should be practicing the general ELDOA every day to prevent CTE/degenerative brain disease.

Below is a preview of the general ELDOA.  It is NOT the full ELDOA. Unfortunately, it is also in French.  Do NOT try this without a certified ELDOA instructor.  The alignment is imperative for results to occur.

Best wishes,
